Stirling Ranges

Opps I forgot to put in the photos of the Stirling Ranges as we past through, we have camped there before and found it to be a great place to stay and look around.. I think the ranges are majestic

Salmon Gums

Here's a spot we stopped at called Salmon Gums... was a huge rest area for trucks as well.... I wish people would take their rubbish away with them tho so if you find it and want to stay the night look out for broken bottles etc... but it is a quiet area and you can park well away from the main road..

Muirs Bridge Rest Area

We wanted to get to Muirs rest area for the night and actually caught up with fellow travellers from Perth, they were going around the SW of the state.. this is a great area for a nights rest :)

Lake Muir

Images of Lake Muir... we stopped for a rest but only for a short time then it was back into the bus and on the road...

Well bet you wondered where I went, it actually surprised me at how little time I spent on the net. Apart from all the driving we did there was the wandering around looking at things then the availability of the net in the spots we stopped at. My hubby and myself tend to like the more 'bushy' type spots rather than caravan parks so there's been a few nights without phone or net... and more than a few we ate, watched a show on tv  and fell asleep. This past week I've been sorting through the photographs, resizing them ready to pop up so I best get started eh....
This first lot are of the trip to the goldfields, we set off there to meet up with a friend but as it turned out the track he took got a little wet and we were unable to take the bus down it... yup, it rained!!! roflol....
Gotta put one more photograph of this little fellow as he kept me amused for ages :)

Loved this one, I went to take a photograph of a rocky outcrop in the midst of a field and spotted a fox sunning himself there... cool eh

Here's one I call follow the leader...

Well that was our trip for the month of May. We've driven to Esperance and now are heading inland towards the goldfields, I have been taking photographs but these will need to be resized when we settle down somewhere for a few days with the net.... the place we will be going to is really in the midst of nowhere and there is no internet there at all... so I may up load some shortly then there will be a gap till we get a signal once again. I hope you are enjoying the photographs of our lovely country and the critters that reside within :)
