More from Vintage Vibes :)

Oh this is Romulus and Remus incase your wondering

While I was in Bridgetown I spotted an antique shop and I can't resist them, I do love old things, just ask my hubby LOLOLOLOL Anyway, this shop is called Vintage Vibes and is run but a lovely lady called Megan, she hunts around for these things and seems to be an avid collector of all things with history. If your in Bridgetown call in and have a chat, look around the store to see if something catches your eye :) Of course I took photographs with Megan's permission, here's a few of the items I found in there :)

Bridgetown is only a 14.4 k drive away, approx 15mins it was first settled in 1857 by Edward Hester and John Blechynden so it has quiet a history and a lot of old buildings, houses and properties.
This runs right through the centre of town.

We had a look at the open cut mine in Greenbushes and I took a couple of photos to put up on here.
It's not a bad size, a lot bigger than you think by looking at these photos. All I was thinking about when looking out was... I bet the grand-kids would LOVE this, it would be a 'wow' moment for them :)
This is a typical miners hut, there's not much in there just enough for a bed and a pot, there is a small fire in there just big enough to keep them warm and that's it!! Talk about basic!
This was there too, I assume to lower a basket in and out of a hole, or even for the water supply. Looks like a two man/woman job!
