Coober Pedy The Breakaways

The hills of the breakaways actually broke away from the Stuart Range some time ago as the inland sea disappeared, they are streaked with colors which change as the light of day changes making for some really nice photographs. And in the middle of this stands Panorama Hill which was featured in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome and Ground Zero, the area has been featured in several films.
It is located on Aboriginal Antakirinja Land the area has been held as a very important place for Aboriginal people.
