Monarto open range zoo

Monarto open range zoo is on 1,500 hectares of land and is undertaking a major role both nationally and internationally in a breeding program for rare and endangered species. It's a beautiful friendly place where you can board a zu-loop shuttle bus from the visitor center to be taken around with stops along the way to viewing platforms and at certain times of the day there will be keepers there to tell you all about the animals you are viewing. There are also approx 10 kilometers of walking tracks meandering through the mallee bush land so you may explore the zoo both on shuttle bus and track. It's only 15 minutes from Murray River and an hour from Adelaide.
We spent the day there and enjoyed every minute of it, of course I took many many photographs and had to choose only a few to put up here...... ummmm let me reword that, only a very few of the ones I took... LOLOLOLOL
This little one was hard to photograph clearly
